wheels and tires?
wheels and tires?
okay so i have been looking around. i found some procomp alloys in black i think they would look sick but i need some opinions. i also read on the sticky about tire sizes and i think i would go with 30x9.5x15. i dont want to do a BL so i will stick with a stock height. what do you guys think? look good or bad?

I think thats a pretty decent price, considering here across the border, they run close to 100 a piece. 30 9.5's are more or less what come stock on the 4x4's. They should look fine as they tend to just fill out that wheel well a little more. If you are coil sprung, you could always pull a few tricks, (coil spacers / welded washers, 4x4 blocks under the rear axle) and be able to fit a 32 9.5 in there. Probably a bit more than you are looking for, but if your trying to go offroad for biking and what not, being a low 2 wheel drive makes things tough.
it wouldnt be deep offroading. just short little runs to get me where i need to go. in the long run i would like to get the fabtech Spindle lift but thats a long ways down the road. and they are powder coated, will they last for a while?
Powder coated last quite nicely, resist rust/corrosion, and you don't need to worry about keeping them *shiny*. For all intensive purposes, what you have now will work fine. I good buddy of mine from school, rips his 2wd ranger anywhere and everywhere. its an 06 if i'm not mistaken. A good set of all-terrains will make the most difference for you. And I would for-go the fabtech spindles, in a practical manner. If its asthetics, rip on 'er, but for practicality... its still two wheel drive.
