i have a couple acorn dents in my roof...and my buddies f250s hood has a couple

 

Another reason I love 1st gens.....I can slide across the hood like the Duke boys without a problem.

But I still find this hysterical.....what do they expect to happen if they ever take their vaginal discharge excuse for a truck " off-road" ?

 

wow. I had a flying rock from a lawnmower hit rite below my gas door thing. I thought it would leave a bigger dent than it did. it probably would have sailed right through a chevy lol

 

Ehh, a lot of trucks are like that . . . my F350 for instance. The guy before me had his sun glasses hanging from the neck of his shirt when he went to put a case of beer in the bed. Put a nice 1.5x1.5" dent in the back corner and didn't even scratch his glasses. My Ranger and 88' GMC Sierra have nice strong body panels IMO.

 

My '94 Ranger was tough as nails and my '02 seems to be just the same.. Both trucks have survived hail of about an inch in diameter and all the door dings you seem to accumulate from the r-tards in Wisconsin have done nothing more than swap paint and I always get THEIR paint on my truck. Although I would have to say that the tops of the bedsides on both trucks are a little wavy from being stepped on... but even then, thats from being stepped on!

Acorn damage... geesh!

 

The ONLY reason why I opened this thread was the "sheep".... What's sheep got to do with this?

Everything these days is getting lighter and thinner. My '09 dents like nothing, my previous three Rangers (87, 90, 93) shook off the same abuse without complaint. Its compliments of governments mandating better fuel mileage and companies cutting corners with materials and saving dollars in the process. Thats the reason why Ford had to start installing 10 box bolts on Rangers instead of 6, the new boxes rip off too easily if overloaded and the cargo is tied down to it [a local 'wheeler tore the box off his brand new '10 Ranger, had the camper secured to the box with custom tie down points. Cross ditches were the culprit. His previous '93 Ranger had the exact same tie down points for 5 years plus with the same camper, covering the same ground without issue]. LR

 

LOL... so what does this have to do with sheep, I figured it had somethin to do with Dodges...

 

Sheep are generally loyal to ONE owner... In this case the sheep are the owners and loyal to only one brand. Ya dig?

 

How true, my 96 Grand Marquis got a dimple sized dent in the roof from a cardboard box falling off the rafters in my garage...the box was empty, hit it with the corner of the box.

 

its all about fuel economy and crash safety these days...

 

Makes me want to dress up in a squirrel costume and pelt chevy owners with acorns....
