want to get a new ranger

I found 2 rangers both 2002 stepsides and 4x4 1 has the 3.0 with 115,000 miles and the other has a 4.0 with 126,000 question is which 1 would be the best choice. I commute 80 miles 1 way to work and occasionally tow my 4wheeler. I currently have a 93 3.0 that is getting ready to die and aint real crazy bout the power or lack there of but ive heard the newer 3.0 isnt to bad.

If you already think the 3.0 doesn't have enough power just go with the 4.0. The newer one isn't much different, if at all.

I always tell people on here. You have 2 engine options. The 2.3L DOHC and the 4.0L SOHC. IF you are looking at anything else you are looking at the wrong Rangers.

the 2010-2011s suck. they are low to the ground, they have too many bed bolts, are made with cheaper metal (hence the bed bolts), you can't get limited slip in them, and they have traction control. plus you can't get FX4s anymore.

I'd rather have Fx4 than 4 wheel disks any day, plus you can do 4 Wheels disks yourself

Canadians still get FX4 package options. I should be getting my 2011 this Saturday, FX4 of course (with a limited slip).

put the pics on your phone onto your puter.
go to photobucket and upload them there then you can post the pic on here.
when you post a message there is a little mountain with a sun in a yellow box.
copy the image into the taskbar with only one http: since it puts it there for you.

voila!
