There's an identical one at a Ford dealer in Charleston IL, somewhat near me. Same color and all. I didn't bother to check the price. No need..

My boss keeps talking about how he's going to buy one when the crew cabs show up at our dealer. It'll match his '11 f250 King Ranch real nice lol. I'd drive one for sure, probably wouldn't buy one though. They're not cheap and I'd rather put that 44k towards a new 6.7.

have any of you guys seen the top gear episode of the raptor? or ever gone on the website? that is a amazing truck all in one package. you get what you pay for. the features of the truck are amazing from the motor to the Fox suspension comes with 12inches of travel to just " electronic off road" mode. im pretty surprised alot of you guys arent so much for the raptor. dont get me wrong they def, could of made the thing look way better.

I'd rather build a truck than buy it at a dealership

Possibly, but I'm gonna go with hard working business owner with trailers a 1/2 ton wont handle. He sold me his '05 King Ranch and didn't want an inferior truck. Can't blame him.

Unfortunately, modding voids warranty. You don't void your warranty by buying a Raptor.

For the most part... I do agree though.

If I was in the position to buy a new fullsize truck, I'd be in a Raptor.

I wouldn't buy a new truck to mod. I'd buy used.

So what if the Raptor comes with a warranty? You void your warranty when you do stupid s*** offroading it.

That's great, would your used vehicle come with a warranty? No. The attraction of the Raptor is that it comes pre-modified and has a warranty to back it. And no, using the truck as it is intended does not void the warranty - contrary to your uninformed belief.

So when I wrap it around a tree the dealership will take care of it no problem?

I don't want a warranty. Myself and most of my friends can fix vehicles ourselves.

The only thing I take my truck to the dealership for was a recall.

Fixing it yourself is a lot different than not paying for the fix/parts that the warranty would cover. I understand the point you're trying to make, but this vehicle has it's advantages and uses. Most of the folks who off-road would rather spend the money modifying another vehicle.

But for the cost of this vehicle, what's included, and what's covered on warranty...I can see why some people are attracted to it. (myself not included)

I can totally see why people like this, I just wouldn't want to make payments on a vehicle.

I really hope someone I know gets one so I can at least ride in it

Yeah me too. My old man was looking at them, but I think ultimately he's gonna choose the new crew-cab Harley edition. I've seen a couple videos on youtube of people driving these things like maniacs, nice to see for a brand new vehicle haha
