Going snorkeling??

Has anyone ever put one of those snorkel deals on their truck. Or know someone who has. Just wondering. Are they costly, pointless, worth it?

John Griggs used to have one on his truck. Might have to do some searching to find it though

Nooo, don't cut into the first gen.

Well, I was toying around with a procharger carb hat and custom intake run somewhere in a "dry" part of the engine bay.

How deep do you plan on going?

no real plans just kind of feeling it out. I wouldnt mind the option being there. How deep can you go without it.

Definitely go with the second link that Trent posted. I've wanted to do that for a while.

As for the people going psycho... it's on every forum, you get used to it.

Me, with the lift I have on the my first gen I can go slow maybe 3 feet. I try not to though. I just fdid about three days ago and it wasn't so bad, I was crawling though.

If Ida hit it hard the truck would have drank a bunch.

My air cleaner on the 302 is pretty much wide open, I'll be replacing it soon enough.

If you go to my profile you'll see my album.

This is the only non flexed out pic I have up :-P

It looks like someone kicked it in the *** at the moment.

I have spacers up front and an add a leaf in the back, with a three inch body lift.

I just got my lift stuff for the fron in the mail yesterday, with my 5.0 badges. so pretty soon it'll be bulldogged with 33" all aroud.

The only thing I have to worry about with the body lift and the inch I have up front is in anything over two or three feet my floor starts getting wet.
