replace plugs, wires, oil pan gasket, water pump, intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, clutch, slave cylinder, radiator hoses, belt...

if you want to get adventurous you could remove the heads and have them checked while the motor is out if it is high mileage.

How many miles are on the motor?

About 190,000 on the new motor, I went and checked it out today. I was looking for one with less mileage, especially considering the one that's coming out only has 135,000, but I ran it for a long time and it ran really good.
