Will Power Windows/Mirrors/Locks Swap?
I recently got a '97 Exploder to do an axle swap with.
Conveniently it has power windows, mirrors, and locks. From what I have been reading, the explorer uses an RAP module to control keyless entry and such, where-as the ranger (an '03) uses a CSM module.
What I really want to know is will the bits an pieces work with my ranger to swap in powered stuff? (Did I get lucky, or is it all useless for me...)
I already know there are some things that will not work (the lift for the windows, the mirror base is a different shape).
Hoping that someone will know a lot more about electrical systems than me ( I know building electrical not automotive/electronics).
