Icon5 3'' body lift and 33x12.5x15 97 ranger

i was just wondering where or if i am going to run in to any problems when i install my lift and tires? i havent bought the tires yet but i am deciding on which tire to run a 10.5 or a 12.5, truck does not have torsion bars i was wondering if they are going to clear fine? i know i will have to trim my bumber a bit to clear when turning but just needed to know what else it might hit? and which size tire i should go with, there is 31x10.5x15 M/T on it no with no problems just wondering if 12.5 was pushing it? i will also be running my stock ford rims for now so thats what im worried about also need an opinion on which tire to choose between a BFG KM2 or a Eldorado MTZ sport?

thanks

For 31s 12.5 is excessive. Stick with 10.5

I recommend KM2s obviously but it's all about your budget.

31x10.5x15 is what is on it now, im going with a 33 i was just wondering if 12.5 is to wide? i know there is no need for 12.5 with a 31 but im looking for the wider look without offset rims and spacers, the km2's are in my budget there is only 15 bucks in the diffrence between the two so its all about the reviews i get about both, from my understanding BFG is a more well knowin tire so i was leaning towards that one anyways

12.5 isnt too wide. but i wouldnt put them on ur stock wheels. it doesnt have enough backspacing. is ur truck a 2wd? i got a 3 bl with and im bout to buy 33x12.5s. i just got my rims. they're just basic black steel wheels. they have 3.75 backspacing so im in the clear of rubbing with the wide tires.

Are you doing this with stock ride height or a lift? My 04 Edge is at stock Edge ride height and I'm about to put 33x12.5's onto some 15x8 ProComp Rock Crawlers with 3.75inch backspacing. Will I have any rubbing? The guys @ Robertson's Tire tell me i'll rip my front bumper off without a lift kit and a front leveling kit.

you're going to have to max your torsion bars. if you get a mud terrain, yes kiss your valence goodbye. I rubbed my valence with a body lift and maxxed bars with KM2's. had to trim it quite a bit

I have a 2001 ford edge 2wd, putting 33 x 12.5 AT tires on, rims are going to be 15 x 8, 3.75 backspacing and -30mm offset. Will I need more than a tbar crank and 3" bl? Also, can I get around for a week or so til bl is installed? Will the -30 offset be too much? Thanks

x2! Do a quick search and you will find all you need about suspension information on here.

Your options are 3" body lift (new or used), 4" superlift (new or used), 5.5" RCD lift (used only). There are a few RCD lifts for sale in the classifieds right now.

Thats weird...I didn't have to do any trimming on mine. And the bars aren't maxed...if cranked at all. I doubt the previous owner did crank them and I haven't either...so I think they are stock height.

I'm running a 33x12.50 Duratrac on a 15x8 wheel with 3.25" backspacing and don't rub at all.
