Check Engine Light and Code

I have a '97 4.0L Ranger with a check engine light on. It's code is reading that bank 1 is running lean.... Any ideas of what the cause might be for this light and how i could go about fixing the problem?

Sounds like an intake issue

yeah but i have no idea where it could be coming from. bank 1 means passenger side and i still have no idea where its coming from
