Hey, sorry for the long absence. Life sucks sometimes. The turd finally has reached the point of barely running since I'm losing compression on two cylinders now. So I just bought a new set of heads but I'd like to change the rocker arms while I'm in there. I see Tom Morano sells the 1.8's but that requires (I assume) the heavier valve springs. Can I still get 1.6's or 1.7's anywhere? Thanks.

yea i had same problem, burnt vavles and 6 cracked seals. 600 bucks for a valve job. decided to buy new ones. but since i got it all apart i really like to upgrade but dont know where to go. how much did you spend on the two heads. the ebay link isnt showing up for me

ha thats where i got mine. they will be in on wednesday! that makes me feel better someone else got them too...keep me posted and i will to as to how it goes!

 

yea someone on here was doing a 5.0 plan thread and i saw he had the proform 1.7's but his is for a 5.0. not sure if they will fit. i wish i knew more about it. id love to upgrade since its all apart.

 

got my heads today!! got the gasket set but i have no idea what all those gaskets go to!?
