Newer tires and Leveling kit

Figure I would post these over here too. Installed my Bilstein 5100s and got the tires installed yesterday. I like it.

Yes, he took off the leveling kit and installed the Bilsteins. They both do the same thing pretty much.

Lewks good. I'm a BFG man, but i can appreciate the all black tire effect. but the gap between tires and truck looks a little big to me.

personal preference I guess. Id love 35s but only a select few actually fit correctly plus I would need to regear so I could tow.

It looks nice and clean!

I have to tell you though, my rental right now is a 2011 F150 supercrew 4x4 with the 6.2L.... I want a new F150 with this engine!

Yeah it wasn't intentional, believe me! That was just the truck that they had. They had me in a new Dodge earlier and it made me miss me truck SO much. Even my wife couldn't stand driving the Dodge. I have been avoiding driving the new F150 like crazy because I knew this would happen! lol

But really, this engine/transmission is what a truck should be. Plus the wheel base is an extra 6" or so, now you don't have the short front doors on the supercrew. Good thing I don't have money right now, otherwise I would be looking for a brand new white supercrew fx4 6.2L, mmmmm.... Just finalized on the house today, good and broke for a while. Looking to pick up some extra shifts at work for new tires, headers, etc. And it has to spend time in the body shop to repaint where two people hit me in the last two months!

I read about the people hitting you. that really sucks :(

Yea the new trucks are unbelievably awesome. I just think its better to have little to no payment than some large payment just to have a nice new truck.

Yeah I agree. As it is, it really sucks making payments and insurance on things that sit at the house for 16/28 days when I'm working.
I finally have my truck back today after dropping the camper at the shop, I love it. I do really like the new engine and transmission, but overall I like the 04-08 better. It looks a lot better and is much more comfortable to me.

Funny you mention that. I drove a 2010 about a year ago and didnt care for it either. it just seemed to carish. Though the new 2011s have more features and different engines so i would have to drive it to decide.

I really like my 05 and I have always liked the looks of 04-08s
