Would like some body lift info ...

I know everone on here thinks i might be nuts but can i buy a 3 inch body lift kit and use 2 inch lift blocks instead ? I searched around and seen a link to how some guy did it but he cut the 3 inch blocks down I would like to do this the right way and just buy the 2x3 blocks but can i still use the hardware that the kit comes with ?

Why don't you want to just use the 3" blocks?

If Im not mistaken, all of the hardware in the kit is purposed for 3" blocks, and not 2".

If you want shorter blocks then you will probably need shorter body bolts as well, along with shifter extension and all that good stuff.

Modifications can be made, but think about the product warranty and stuff like that.

That and the extra cost of all that... sort of takes away from the ease and lower cost of a body lift.

I also would like to know what your reasoning is for only going 2" - why bother?
