Spark Plug Torque

Good day all,

This is my first time to the site and looking forward to a very busy future with it. My question today is: What is the correct torque on spark plugs for a 2008 Ranger FX4 in inch/lbs or ft/lbs? Is their a site you can go to acquire this info? Tks a bunch.

Cheers,
John

When you replace spark plus I would get them hand tight then take a socket to them and give a little extra cranking. You definately dont want to over tighten them and breakt them.

I could be wrong but I dont think they are supposed to be very tight.

Finger tight then 1/8 - 1/4 turn no more. Official spec is 13lbft.
