3.0 EGR?

3.0 EGR?
Does a 2002 ranger with 3.0 auto have an EGR valve? If so where is it located as I see no tubes off of the ex manifold.

My 02 does not have the same manifold shown in dia. It has no holes in ex casting,no piping,no egr,no dpme. only two valves w vacuum lines to the valve cover area mounted near master cyl on wheel well.

the picture on your right is not EGR related. that is your canister purge valve for EVAP.

doesnt look like your ranger has a EGR system in it.

The 2002 3.0 Ranger does not have EGR.

2002 2.3 and 4.0, yes; 3.0, no.

If your truck has the composite/plastic upper intake--no EGR. Aluminum upper--EGR.

Figured out bad cat,to fix for inspection pass.
