Today, my friends (well I consider him my brother,) truck burnt on his way home from work, he said he was driving, lost power so got to the side of the road, then smoke starting rolling from under the hood. This guy has been kicked in the ***** quite a bit this year, and this is another kick for him. Unfortunately he only has liability on it.

holy crap! What did he do recently to the truck?

Also, could it be the cruise control module? I know ford had a recall on those...

 

He hasnt done anything to it in the last year at least, not sure what all hes done to it, but I know not alot.

 

That sucks... hope things get better for him!

Sounds like he's on a good run of bad luck, hope things change for him quickly .

 

Post up what caused it I am curious. That is unfortunate, it's also one of my biggest fears. I hope there is a positive side to this. At least he got away unharmed.

Could be a Quint, and be used as a rescue truck as well. Our Engine 1 His a Tanker-Pumper with some extracation equipment.

 

Quints don't have 100 foot ladders on them
