Hi Guys,

I got distracted last weekend by a 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago revving it's engine in a parking garage and forgot that I parked directly beside a concrete post. A few turns of the steering wheel later and after I popped it into reverse (without looking - I was staring at the Lambo.) I now need to replace my drivers side front fender.

Yeah, backed out and directly against that concrete post. Luckily it didn't touch the hood or door though.

There is a guy in my town who is parting out a 2001 Explorer and I was wondering if the fenders from his ride would work for my 2001 Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0L. Thoughts? I know the Mazda B4000 one is different but I haven't heard anything on the compatibility between the Exploders and Rangers. Input is appreciated. Thanks!

Explorers fenders are different and Mazda B series fenders from 98 to 2006 are the same as the 98+ rangers.

 

mazda fenders are different around the corner lights. 98-11 ranger fenders will work.

 

I have the Ranger, was wondering if the Explorer fenders would work... Seemed like you thought I had the Explorer. Thx,

That's right, I always thought the Mazda fenders were the same as the Rangers. But after looking closely at them, they are different. It's actually good to know, would have sucked to find that out the hard way as I'm getting ready to install the Ranger front clip onto my truck.
