Storage behind seat

I need some kind of storage unit behind the front seats so things don't slide around. My 2011 Sport has a vinyl floor and anything you lay there ends up under the seat or on the opposite side of the cab. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure there was a Ford accessory tray thing available... I know this pic is from an older 2dr extended cab but I think they made them for the 4dr trucks too.

I have a hand-built storage box. Its not huge, but it does make a nice storage compartment.

Mine is an extended cab, so that would probably fit. Is this an after market item, or something Ford offered at the time?

I don't get on R-F or --- much any more--I've been hanging out on the Focus sites a lot lately.

Vinyl Floor, Bench seat, Standard Cab, 2003 Mazda B2300

I bought an OEM Toyota Cargo Net:

New Genuine 2005 2013 Toyota Tacoma Cargo Net | eBay

(about a 53" span between the nets loops) and then used

two steel hooks from Home Depot

Everbilt Chrome Single Robe Hook-15739 at The Home Depot

and

3M VHB Tape:

3M VHB Heavy Duty Mounting Tape 5952 Black, 3/4 in x 15 yd 45 mil: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

To mount the steel hooks to the plastic trim behind the seat.

The cargo net allows me hold my window sun screen, leather gloves, rope, locks, etc. off of the floor with easy access.

ill post pics later of what I did, but basically, its just a box made out of MDF. holds all my ratchet straps, bungees. few tools, my flashpaq tuner, etc. keeps things uncluttered back there.

ok heres a picture of the box i built. i made it to fit perfectly in the space, it cannot move forward, back, or side to side. love it. may not look the best, but im more for functionality rather than looks.

just a simple box, two compartments inside to keep thigns seperate, simple handle on top. on the inside i glued on strips to keep the lid from moving around as well. and put rubber strips to keep it from making noise when it shakes or vibrates from bumps in the road.

I went to Americanvan.com and ordered a metal shelf system that I bolted to the floor and it works great.
