Nightshade Headlights

Ok, now that I have your attention. I'm no idiot, I know not to nightshade my headlight lenses. BUT, what if I do the headlight mod, put in oven, separate lens from housing, paint housing in non-reflector areas, bla bla bla, but I use nightshade instead of straight up black paint. I would assume that I would get kind of a black chrome look, with a light coat or 2 of nightshade of course. Has anyone done this and if so can you post up pics? Thanks.

I used Duplicolor Shadow (chrome tint) on my emblems and it is very difficult to get it even. It seems worth trying if you have the patience to apply it correctly

Demon-FX4 was his username. Color matched E4 headlight mod. It looked ok but I remember him catching some crap because they looked pink.

I don't really like the color matched look. Unless it's a black truck. My truck is pretty close in color to rangerstepside's truck.

duplicolor makes cans you can get off of a shelf that match. I usually just get a can made at an autobody supplier if i need to spray something (like i sprayed my grille surround)

Tyler (Rangerboy101) has DSG heads and they look great! They look better than black on a white truck IMO.
