Hey guys, new here. Look at the forums lots but don't post if I've got nothing to contribute. What I am wondering is if there are any manufacturers in North America that make a heavy duty torsion bar for the Ranger. Specifically my 2010 Sport 4x4. I'm thinking of getting a winch bumper and wonder if it would be worth getting stronger torsion bars?
A friend of mine with a Nissan Xterra complained that his front sagged after he got his winch bumper and he snapped a torsion bar hitting a bad pothole one winter. He got upgraded torsion bars and has no more sagging and they have held up since.
When I Googled heavy duty torsion bars most of the results were from Australian Ranger owners who swear by them for any application with extra weight in the front.
