okay so i have a 2003 ford ranger edge 4.0 4x4 so i have this wired almost growling noise when im going down the road. it has new tires that i got back in December. it had thrown the wheel weights so i thought that was it got that check and i have had the aliment checked neither fixed it thought it was the CV axles going bad replaced that, that didn't fixed it and the weird thing is when i make a turn to the right it stops when i straighten back up it comes right back

 

I have a std cab 03 EDGE Steppie with a sealift 4.5" lift.
Other than the tire growl there is a metallic grinding noise when I corner.
I thought it was the front wheel bearings, had them checked nothing wrong, I am pi$$ed every time I drive it but I have gotten used to it.
Maybe an SAS will help, lol.
Sorry tis is no help I know but I too have a front end noise that won't go away.

 

check that your front diff is unlocked when in 2wd, also check that your brake sliders arent locking up.

check that at full lock nothing is contacting your backing plate on the brakes.
