I have a 2002 Ranger 4.0L 4x4. It has been sitting for about 6 months while I was out of town with about half a tank of gas( and stabil). On my first startup she turned over and then immediately cut off. I checked the fuses, inertia switch and switched the fuel pump relay, everything checked out fine but still no startup. The fuel pump will not prime when I turn the key to the on position so I assumed it was the fuel pump. I removed the pump and checked it with a 12v source and it works! So now I'm pretty confused... Anyone have any ideas??
