I was looking over my ranger today that I recently bought. The guy before me had a remote starter installed. I was looking at the floor of the interior, and the tops of the sections for your feet just seem really open and exposed to me. Should there be a plastic trim piece covering these two sides? Both the driver and the passenger side are exposed. Could someone please check their ranger and let me know. Also, what would this section be called, so I can try and find parts? My best bet may be someone parting one out.

Looks just like mine. (Mine was a DOT vehicle, with extra lights, distance monitors, etc, so it might have had the panels removed, but I doubt it.) Ford, saving money -- like the "expensive" glove box light!
