My Dream Ranger

Hello Forum Members, I purchased my 3rd Ranger last fall on a drive down to Raleigh North Carolina. My 2006 FX4 level II , it has been everything I wanted, but the need to personalize has started. I put in a a leveling kit and some front torsion keys , then fitted up some BFG 33s. I was looking at some photos on line and traced one back here from a fellow member. It is attached. I was wondering if anyone can help tell me what has been done to the truck in the photo as I want mine to look just like it. I have not had any luck at all with identifing the light accessories. Any help would be appreicated !!!

To me, it looks like 2 KC lights(or off brand with KC covers) mounted on a bull bar and the 4 lights on the bed are mounted on a headache rack. Lift looks like a body lift probably.

No can' t be a bull bar, kept factory front skid plate , looks more like old style brush guard but smaller, can't find anything like it anywhere . Love the headache rack , will check KC lights . Must be a body and some sort of suspension lift on top of the body . Any ideas by just the photo ???

For the lift, cranked bars and an aal or shackle. Its like a push bumper mounted to the plate where the tow hooks mount(not very functional if you ask me) I have Grote lights with KC covers, the ones in the picture might be too. The Grote are a whole lot cheaper.

That's bills old truck, in that pic it's got a 4in superlift with a 3in body lift. The guard is a WAAG front runner modified to work with the bl. Then. Carr light bar (or old kc) all the lights are kc 6in daylighters.

He also has clear corners and the super rare south american tail lights.

Tires are 35x12.5 on 15x10 wheels

His tow hooks were also modded to fit with the bl. I will look for his build tread when I get home. It was a nice rig.

Great info on the Grote lights , was checking out some of the photos of your truck , Wow you got a lot of work in it . Like how you have the lights set up on the front of yours . Don't know what it is about the ones in the photo from online , reminds me of my 1987 STX I guess , just looking for something retro and simple , no big grill guards !!!
