As promised in multiple threads, I would like to let R/F know that some ranger owners (past and present) are heading to Silver Lakes Sand Dunes. The weekend we will be there is May 28-29. Many of you who know us know we'll be there earlier than that.

If you are interested, Post up and I'll get you some details of where the best place to camp or stay in is at and any things you'll need or want to bring.

Dang I wish I could go! This year just isn't a good time with so much going on. Almost all of my vacation days for the year are already accounted for because of the wedding/honeymoon.

I'm going next year for sure!

Silver Lakes Sand Dunes is located in Mears, MI. That is on the west side of the state.

Our group usually heads out there a few days early and we stay at the Yogi Bear Campground. There is a state park campground close by as well and plenty of Hotel's if that is your thing.
