Wheel Spacers

Hey all, I received my 2" Ranger wheel spacers about 2 weeks ago and everything had been running smoothly until last night when towing my boat. Suddenly I hear a violent thwacking sound like something is rubbing on my wheel. I sheared 3 out of the 5 wheel studs on my wheel spacers(tire barley being held on by 2 studs). I'm running stock 15" wheels with 30.5x9.50 Mud Terrains on my 1998 4x4 4.0 Ranger. Is this something I did? Torque wrong? Why are the studs aluminum on these spacers? Can I replace the studs? Why did this happen? I know this seems like an over whelming post but thanks a ton!

To be completely honest it sounds like you bought some very crappy spacers. Why exactly did you put the spacers on there? Like for looks or to prevent rubbing?
