94 4.0L ohv rev up and die on start

Hey guys, the story of this is I rolled my truck, it ran fine. I replaced the rocker arms and it on starting it would rev up to about 3 grand, then die. I replaced the tps and it would rev up, almost die, rev up again and then die, upon it dying there would be a puff of air. After replacing the iac valve, its back to before. Before i replaced the iac and tps, it ran really well on full throttle, or just on carb clean. At this point I'm kind of lost. I'm thinking maybe the inertia switch is bad, but it ran fine before i did the rocker arms. Anyone have an idea or a suggestion of what to test or what the issue may be?

You have a large vacuum leak

high RPMs come from AIR not fuel
If you add too much fuel to an engine you get a flooded engine
If you add too much air you get high RPMs

The REV Limiter will kick in at around 3,000rpm, cutting fuel, to idle levels
And because of the the extra air there is not enough fuel to keep engine running

IAC Valve can only REV engine to about 2,000RPM, maybe 2,200, just not a large opening for higher.

TPS just tells computer driver wants to accelerate, more of a throttle response sensor, it doesn't control fuel flow.
When you press down on gas pedal you open throttle plate, letting in more AIR, and thats what increases RPMs, not TPS

Check that throttle plate is not stuck open as well, it can happen, lol.

PCV valve and hose and power brake hose are ones to check
