31.5 tires on stock 99 4x4?

I have a 99 4x4 3.0 stock suspension Ranger. I was wanting to put this size of tires on 265/75R16. I believe the calculator says those are 31 and 1/2 in. Is anyone put the size on without any rubbing? That are Cooper AT3.

I have 265/75/16s on my 99 ranger currently with no issues. I plan on replacing them with the AT3 this spring so i am curious to hear your thoughts on the tire.

My trucks got BFG's AT's on it. But they need replaced and I am not spending that kind of coin on tires for my 16 year and his truck

I've only heard good things about the AT3's. Good traction, low wear, and low road noise. They look great too!

I ran that size on mine. No issues, minor rubbing. Look at the duratracs. They were great.

I like the duratrac, I just got to be able to find them at a reasonable price. Between rims and tires I don't want to go above 1200. That's my very top dollar.

Search for my build thread for pics. I ran stock 16's and my tires in that size cost me $880 at Discount tire. They should be cheaper if you went odd. 15" is cheaper, dunno about 17's. I'm sure you could find a set of 15's on Craigslist somewhere.

My 2wd has Firestone Destination ATs, stock size 15in, they look really nice. I honestly wouldn't mind another set for my 99 4wd.. about 160-170 per.

I, however, cannot put 15s on a 4wd Ranger. My understanding is the late 2000s came with 15s, I just think Ford didn't do anyone a favor. My buddy has a red 2010 ext 4wd with stock 15s, looks silly.

I'm going to get the general grabber at2's they have a good 50000 mile guarantee or something. We'll see about that. I've had lots of different tires and want to try something new. I have 16's but also upgraded to 06 spindles with the 12" rotors. My 15's wouldn't fit anymore. Tires of that size should fit just fine. If they don't go with 31. They are known to work fine. You could also do a tbar crank just don't go to far with it.
