Tming Cover gasket on 99 OHV 4.0

I have just replaced the timing cover gasket & water pump on my 99 4.0 as it was leaking but my problem is when I got home tonight it seemed to be leaking again. When I put the new gasket on I used sealant or "Right Stuff" on both sides of the gasket but I am wondering if actually it might of been too much. When I took the old gasket off there was no other kind sealant used just the gasket. Could by using sealant on both sides of the gasket cause it to not completely seal up and still cause a leak? I cleaned the cover and the sealing area on the engine block plus the only place where coolant comes and goes are the holes on each side of the block. Any ideas of what might be causing it to still leak.?

Is it leaking around a bolt?

Not that I'm aware of, but I'm going to check this morning to see if I can see where it might be leaking.

I found that the timing cover was slightly warped on the drivers side (.004) and the left coolant hole had some pitting on it. Went and replaced the timing cover and gasket which took care of the leaking
