Auto dimming mirror

Auto dimming mirror
There is a wire with a small white connector that comes out of the back of the mirror, what does this plug into and where? Thank you.

I'm not able to help with your question. All I can say is I'm not a fan of auto-dimming mirrors. I prefer the old style where you flip the lever and it gives a real dim.

Depending on what the mirror is out of, probably the sensor for auto head lights or the rain sensor for auto wipers or possibly both.
