Every time I get in my 2019 Ranger I have to remember to hit the off button to kill the auto stop start system which I hate!! Any Idea on how to disable it ?? I tried putting in a trailer test plug which works on F150 .. Thanks

 

For those that don't know Auto on/off shuts off the engine when you stop, this is done to save gasoline and to lower emissions, so Dealers and Owners can't eliminate it directly because it is an emissions issue

Changes Default "Auto on/off" to OFF, so you can still use this function if you want, its just with "Key On" it "presses the button" for you each time so you don't have to, with key off it will default to ON again so this device "presses the button" for you with each Key on

I have read that Forscan can add time to auto off so it doesn't shut off engine as fast when stopped, don't think it can change the default setting through
