coolant in oil

Hey. I had to put new timing chains in a ranger i purchased. pulled the motor, completed timing, refreshed motor with all new gaskets and seals (except the heads. head gaskets were never replaced and was never opened up.), torqued the entire motor to specs and did proper sequences, and when it comes to the wiring harness, sensors, vacuum lines, etc. I was kind of lost. I have never done a project this big before. I filled up with fluids in and tried starting but the battery didnt have enough charge to turn over, but it was pressurized and it started leaking gas out of one injectors. I took off the minimal amount of connections and raised the intake enough to get to the fuel rail and put new orings on the injectors. i buttoned everything back up and by that time it had charged enough to start. when it started it ran for a second and then started making a small popping noise and i noticed the smell of vaporized antifreeze. checked the dipstick and there was coolant in the oil. drained everthing out of the block and took a look at my hoses around my main heater core lines and where the t connector is. if i ran a line with coolant in it to a vacuum or something by accident and it is dumping into my block would that cause this issue? I dont think its a headgasket because that would be a slower leak or a cracked block because i dont have oil in my coolant. i now realize this sounds stupid but on the heater core lines where there is a t connector near the firewall the smaller hose that seams like it should go to the back i have hooked up to the silver can with a nipple sticking out that turned out to be connected to the back of the fuel rail on the drivers side. i thought it was a safety line and didnt think about coolant. later down that same line near the oil cap i have another branch of the heater core line going into the bottom shaft on the three shaft connector thats beneath the throttle body. that connection has also has a thick plastic line that goes to the egr i believe in the back drivers side corner of the manifold. that hose is the middle connection and i have the flexible top hose hooked up to the nipple that comes out on the same piece as the egr valve. i have my fingers crossed that you guys n gals can help me out... thank you in advance.
