Blinkers

So I broke the reverse safety switch on my tranny when I was rebuilding it so my reverse lights come on when Im in drive, but Im having a problem with my rear signals now. At first, Id flick the lever either way and the light on the dash would just come on, same for the outer lights on the front and back. Then, about a week later, the arrows still stay on and dont flash, but now my brake lights come on, the blinkers stay off, and the front blinkers still just stay on so I have no clue whats going on. Now, the guy I bought the truck off of was an old farm dude who probably wired the whole truck himself but either way I drive on the highway alot and this might be an issue.

My first thought would be the Directional Switch Assembly, later years called it the Multi-Function Switch" !

In my 98, '95, and the /03 it is located inside of the steering column, could be a loose pin like most of mine were, could be a worn out switch.

Where on a '94 it is I don't know but I'm guessing it is the culprit !
