Icon5 WHAT SHOCKS TO PUT ON REAR WITH A 3 Inch LIFT?

Hi Yall. I have an 05 Ranger 4.0 4x4 with a 3-inch lift in the rear ( I didn't install the lift myself) I'm in need of new shocks and I imagine the stock shocks will no longer cut it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The front is not lifted but the torsion bars have been cranked a bit. In its previous life (Pearl) my white ranger had a plow on her I think.

This is my humble opinion... that isn't much and I am guessing you are using blocks in the rear.

If you are using blocks, then there is a good chance that you can reuse your existing shocks, if they are good.

In the meantime, check with the Lift Manufacturer and see what they suggest or as I ended up doing, after two years of playing around with different shocks sets and wasting good money and time, I went to a Suspension Specialist !
I ended up talking to a Tech at Off Road Warehouse, a suggested Tech, and he took the Truck under his wing and doubled checked everything, mainly because a friend of his sent me to him. He ended up finding out that I needed two different shock sizes and of course the front Coil-Overs needed rebuilding. After he/ORW finished with the suspension rebuild... man does this Truck ride nice, no wheel hop,
