2.3l turbo cooling

Have a 2.3 turbo 96 ranger, looking for a radiator that will replace a stock one. Looking for as much cooling as possible without modifying stock location. Looking for a bolt in and go option. Found a full aluminum radiator for a 94'. What is the difference from 94 to 96 radiators? Thanks.

Shouldn't be any difference between 1993 to 2000 2.3l/2.5l radiators

There is a difference between manual trans and automatic trans radiators on all vehicles, and not just the cooler, the manual trans uses single core, autos had double cores, so more cooling and capacity for coolant

But they are thicker, so the shroud for an automatic is thinner also different tabs at the bottom, so if you get an automatics radiator you also need the automatic shroud
