Uneven cranking after new timing belt

I recently replaced the timing belt on my poorly running 1987 Ranger. When I try to start it the engine seems to catch at a point when cranking. It will turn smoothly for the first couple rotations and then crank very slowly and uneven. I tried removing spark plugs (and disconnecting fuel pump) and It cranked quickly just as it aught to. I have attached a video showing how my timing marks are aligned and me turning the engine over.
