What happened to "Ford Tough"

Hi sorry that this is my first post cause I'm always the positive happy fun guy but dayuuuum. I'm so disappointed in this truck. I've had Ford trucks before and they were always great. I've had this Ranger for 7 months and literally have 9 "dents" in the bed fender areas. First one I got jus loading a cooler from the side. My chest dented it. The next was from carrying groceries and hit it with my elbow. Who the heck knows where the others came from. Had a Tacoma before for 4 years and ZERO dents. I'm so bummed. Anyone else have issues or am I the only one that has a truck made out of recycled aluminum cans?

It's a rather large truck with a rather small 2.3 litre engine, I guess they cut back on weight by using even thinner aluminum.
Using aluminum inside the box _ it's going to dent no matter how thick.
Just my opinion; even with a turbo, you're only going to get so much torque and horse power out of a 2.3, so weight was cut anywhere where the could.
