2011 Ford ranger lift advice

Hi folks, wanting to lift my truck. Any advice? For a first timer. Best item? Best site?

Going to give you my standard answer to this question

I don't recommend lifting a 2010 or 2011 Ranger.

It messes with the "Traction Control System" and "Electronic Stability Control" and the "Roll Stability Control"

I don't know of anyone who has successfully lifted or leveled a 2010 or 2011.

If you just have to have a lifted Ranger, get a 2009 or older.

I thought about it. So a lift wouldn’t be ideal, but would you suggest bigger tires? I would like to see Beefier tires instead of the stock 15s. If so any suggestions on tires?

The stock tires on my 2011 4x4 are 255/70R16 , that's equal to 30 x 10.00 x 16

Guessing you have

225/70R15 that's equal to 27.4 x 8.9 x 15,

You should be able to find a 30" tire that fits your 15" rims

Loving the advice. Thanks a bunch. I don’t know off hand but will take a look at it and see. I guess I could do that way. Just find a 30in tire set and keep old stock rims.

save $$.

You could body lift it 3 inches and probably be able to put 31s or 32s on it without messing with any of that crap

Body lifts still mess with it.

Decisions decisions.. still thinking what to do. Kind of leaning towards finding bigger tires that could fit my 15 in rims. Wonder if that will be better looking.
