Torque Converter Failing at only 87,000 miles?
2011 Ford Ranger 4x4 V6 5R55E. Whirring noise in first and reverse, harsh shifts, thump when fully letting off gas, you wonder if it's going to shift up a gear when accelerating, random "binding/running out gas feeling at highway speeds and now once at a complete stop, car no longer creeps forward once you release the brakes.
I can't think of it being anything else it would be.
Also for any owners with the same spec? Are these slow? And when I mean slow, I mean once the light turns green, you have every car trying to pass you because you're not getting up to speed. I feel like I have to floor it just to get to speed. It feels like I'm towing something behind me.
