Just got the little guy home from the body shop the other day. Had both front fenders, front bumper, lower valence, left headlight filler piece, drivers door, and rockers replaced on both sides. Also stuck my DuraTracs back on because the Cooper AT/W, 15K miles, started producing vibration, 2nd set of Cooper AT type that have done this. No more Coopers for me.
Still have a few things to do before completion, but happy with how it looks, again. Before Before After After After
Looks good! How has the tread wear been on the DuraTracs? I had two sets years ago that had the worst tread wear I've ever seen on tires. I barely got 20k out of them, which was disappointing.

Thank you!
No trouble at all so far. I do keep an eye on the pressures, 34#F and 32#R, plus rotation every 5K. Tires have right around 13K on them, and without measuring, I'd say no more than 20% wear, and no odd wear at all. They do make a tad more noise than the Coopers that were on there, but not bothersome to me. They sure don't have the vibration either, it was so bad I got thinking ujoints, bearings, maybe the clutch.
Next up, is gonna be replacing the Fox 2.0s on there, sseem to be worn out.
Hey John ,long time no see.Your truck is still in great shape.I still have Ol'Blacky with less than a 100 K miles on it.I like your truck just as it is.Take care buddy! Bob C.
Good looking truck. I'd take the rest of the Ford badging off;
no sense in being a traveling corporate billboard, unless you're being paid to do so.
Thank you. As much as I'd like to, everything leaves a bloody hole. The new fenders even came with holes, the shop and I were hoping they wouldn't, just hard to see in the photos. I've been trying to strip the chrome from the fender badges, nothing works so far. I may wind up doing PlastiDip on them like I did on the originals, not what I really want, but it did hold up well for at least 6-7 years.

BOB!!! How ya doing man??? Ya, still kicking around. How's Blacky looking these days, knowing you, probably looking great yet. Photos?
I'm doing great for my age (72) and still have Blackie and she still has less than a 100k miles on her, hardly drive her anymore basically a grocery getter.Still keep her well maintained.I still check FRF and Ranger-Forums every morning.Looking for some top of the line seat covers but wish I knew more about Explore seats and where to get them.Still get lots of thumbs up and head twisters in my small town.Man it was great seeing your post today, glad you still have yours and that you are still around.Good hearing from you John.Take care my friend!
Thanks Bob, good to see things are going well for you. It's too bad about FRF, seemed everyone vacated at once for some reason. Never found out the goings on.
Mine is still my daily driver, but that only comes out to about 100 miles a week, I'm 70, so I know what you're saying. I've got a modded out '20 F150 as well, that sometimes sits for weeks. I have won 2 online contests with it, so that's something, although the Ranger still gets more attention on the streets than it. LOL, funny how that works.
Here's a couple photos of the 150. The snow photo is the way it looks today.
Sweet 150 red of course! Great your still around and doing good.ONE off my great friends at FRF I rarely comment here and have no friends here but have learned a lot from the posts here. Nice to know I have at least one friend here. Take care John!

The moderation team disappeared, and so did the admin. The place became a free for all, and die-hard Ranger owners became busy with life and stopped logging on. That left just a bunch of Off-Topic chatters and barely anybody to answer tech questions, and barely anybody actually modifying their Rangers. It's basically what happened here too.

Yes, I remember going there, say or ask something, and nothing. Too bad, it was a decent site for quite awhile. Seems I recall an argumentative group as well. I wonder to some if the Ranger just became an obsolete item?
I sorta put the Ranger on the back burner for some time, just maintained it, but my interest has come back around lately.
I thought I recognized you too.

Ya, at one time it was my favorite site.

Yes, the Off-Topic chatters were the argumentive group. Many of them are still there. But barely any real tech info. These trucks have always primarily been owned by three groups. First time drivers (younger generation), 55+, and fleet users. The first time drivers or younger generations are the ones who mainly used to be on the forums. But as social media advanced and new sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc blew up, this younger generation started to spend more time there than on forums. And that's partially why there has been such a big decline for traditional internet forums such as FRF and RF.
I used to primarily spend my time on FRF, but grew tired of the lack of tech info and back around 2015 I was shadow-banned for reasons I cannot recall. So I migrated over here and have stayed ever since.
There is one guy at FRF that replied to ever new person with a smart *** reply and he scared off any chance of gaining a new member,I got into it with him several times.
I still reply there when I see my buds. Never forget John you were one of my good buds!
Yes, and now we're here.

Bloody younguns, don't know what they had. I did check out a few of those social media sites, but not for me. Just a lot of "this is me" sort of stuff. Not really any useful info I could find. I still prefer sites like this, potential for good info, good intelligent adult conversations for the most part.
I hear ya! My friend is on facebook and twitter and notice him wanting to argue everything and fact checking me on his phone when were talking,I flat do not want to go there,I hate arguing myself.

Exactly why I live alone with my pup. Never argues with me, always happy to see me, and rides very well in the truck.
I had a great Boston Terrier that went every where with me, Sure do miss her,the wife said no more dogs,She is tired of taking them down the back steps in the Winter time. When she gets up they need to go then..She won't budge.

I was wondering if you still had your pup. I remember seeing many photos in your truck. They just don't last long enough, I lost Oz back in November of '17, man, I still miss him. My new buddy is Seamus, the black/white one in my avatar, another Border Collie, Blue Heeler cross, same as Oz was. Same breed dog, but looked nothing alike. Oz took after the heeler, and Seamus the BC. I've had Seamus for 3 years now. This was Oz This is Seamus
Worst part about having a dog is when they get old.I wouldn't mind a cat either but she complains about the litter box,I told that would be my job but she still won't budge.Your dogs are great, bet they love Dad!

Oh yeah, Seamus is always close at hand, very obedient, loves to play ball. He was a rescue from the local shelter, was returned twice, until I got him. They changed the adoption procedure for him, required the new owner to have experience with this type of dog, after 2 of them, I was a cinch. Just took a little know how to get him controllable, now, zero trouble. I take him everywhere I can, even into a number of stores up here. Very well behaved, and really likes meeting new people. Everyone seems to like him.
That "big brown behemoth", also in my avatar, is my olde neighbors female chocolate Lab. She's my other dog, an 85# bundle of lovability. Always has to lick my face nearly raw, and loves to snuggle up to me. She's a real sweetie too.
