Hey all,
Fairly new to the forum but I've got a 2004 ranger 4.0 5 speed and am looking to swap in some one ton axles but I don't want my wheels to stick out an abnoxious 8 inches from the fender. Anyone know of any 1 ton axles ever made that would be a little narrower than most? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!

 

The only one-ton axles that are narrower than most are from old trucks in the 50s and 60s, and you might be hard pressed to find parts for them. If you want a narrow axle, re-tube a Super Duty axle to your desired width and run with it.
