Having never dealt with A Fuel injection system, removal and disassembly was simple. After cleaning and ready to reassemble the top end, what is the best technique for reassembling? Do I pop the injectors into the Fuel rail first or into the intake manifold then put the fuel rail down ?

don't know if this is the best way but I put them in the manifold first then slowly worked the rail into them. Kida from the back to the front. I dont remember having any issues .

 

I can't say for the OHV but the shop book on the SOHC says to lube the seals with clean engine oil. I neglected to do that on assembly and had to really push them in to seat, but they sealed fine so I think it's just to aid assembly. Probably makes it slide right in.

 

yes good idea to wipe them with some oil they will seat much better
