Hi gents, new here and have a quick and hopefully uncomplicated question. I have a 2003 Ranger Edge 4.0 sohc that has the bad cam chain issue. I bought a 2001 4.0 sohc that has had the cam chains replaced and is a good runner. SO the question I have is what do I need to change from the original to the replacement engine. I have noticed that the 2001 has the egr setup on it and the 2003 does not. Can I just change out the intake and left side exhaust manifold to correct this and then install the replacement engine in the truck?
