New member here. So I have an issue. My son owns a 2011 XLT. He hit a deer a couple of months back, and patched the front end back together until he could save up enough money to replace everything the right way. Well fast forward, he finally had enough and bought everything he needed. He just put everything back together over the weekend, and is having issues with his side markers. One of the side marker bulbs blew, and after replacing, neither side marker works. He put LED bulbs in the front turn signals. Headlights work, turn signals work, but no side markers. Changed the LEDs out to the original bulbs, still nothing. Bought another pair of side marker bulbs, still nothing. Changed out the Hazard Flasher relay under the steering wheel, changed the fuse in the cabin fuse box, still nothing. I'm SOMEWHAT mechanically inclined, but by no means a mechanic. Trying to help him out. Anybody on here able to help a fellow out?

 

Given the history of damage, I'd say there's a wire or splice broken or corroded. Time to start tracing the wiring out.
