‘98 Ranger XLT 2.5L 5spd Auto Hesitation from stop at acceleration.

Just finished fixing a PO455 Check engine light. Now my truck wants to hesitate or almost stall if I try to accelerate too energetically. Replaced fuel cap, evap purge valve and fixed two vacuum leaks. Any ideas as to why. It was great before the code. Any thoughts?

New to Ranger

Shalom, everyone. I just bought a 1998 ranger XLT 2.5 manual transmission. It is having several issues.
I have the same hesitation from stop and acceleration.
Also dies at stops.
I have taken it to AutoZone and had them put it on the OBDII and each time it gives me a code I replace the part. First it was the Master airflow regulator, then the EGR and now it's something else
The guy I bought it from said the engine wiring harness had need melted through In places and he spliced the wire's together. And said it was having voltage issues with the O2 sensors.
Any ideas?
