1993 Ranger XL, 4.0l, 4x4, Manual trans. It started with the Truck getting a rebuild, frame and engine. Reassembled and the truck ran fine for a while. Suddenly, It would start, run for a while and shut off. I checked the fuel pressure, 35 lbs starting, slowly dieing to 20 lbs and shutting off. KOEO, Checked for power at the pump, none. I jumped the Inertia switch and checked the power KO,12v, 2 seconds later, 5 volts. Still no power to pump. Checked the fuel pump relay, working. Checked the EEC relay, hit and miss. KO power to the relay. This morning, pulled and replaced the relays, turned the key on, heard the relays trip, heard the fuel pump whirr, turned key, truck started and ran for about 1 minute, slowly died. I went to the ignition switch, turned the key on, no lights on dash, turned it off and on again, lights on dash, relays clicking. Engine turns over, no start. Any Ideas?
