Rough Idle/Crank No Start
Rough Idle/Crank No Start
My 1999 4.0 OHV, 290k miles, has problems Idling and when I give it some throttle it wants to die before revving up (I've attached a video to this thread, hopefully you all can see it). It only gives me problems when the truck is warm, when I fire it up cold there are no issues. When I shut it off and try to start it back up warm it'll crank but no start for a few minutes, even with the throttle wide open. It also doesn't give me issues when I'm moving at a good clip and have my foot on the gas, only at low RPM's which leads me to think it's not a fuel problem but something air related.
So far I've replaced:
-Coil Pack
-Spark Plugs (Gapped to .064)
-Spark Plug Wires
-MAF Sensor
-Throttle Position Sensor
-Idle Air Control
-I've looked and listened for Vacuum Leaks but haven't found any, though I haven't hooked up a vacuum gauge either to get a hard number
none of which have helped with my problems. The truck isn't throwing any codes. I've ordered the Cam Position Sensor and Crankshaft Position Sensor, if one of those doesn't work then I don't know what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated
