1988 2.9 ranger slow crank no start when warm

Hello all, I’m usually a lurker when I can’t figure something out but this old girl has me scratching my head. Because I don’t have a cel in my tach. I’ll start with what I already believe to be wrong with it at the moment. I had a super rich flooding situation when I first bought the truck, so upon inspection found the lower intake manifold gasket leaking. Since I was in there I replaced common grounds that are typically issues. I started with the iac valve, injector pressure regulator, fuel filter, engine air filter all while I was already under the hood for vacuum leak. Upon completion of that the vacuum leak was now corrected, but lo and behold now I’m have a sever rich condition. Which was causing an even worse flooding problem. Upon driving it I realized it was spitting flames under load, so I adjusted timing, making sure all was well, then Having replaced and double checked all the parts id already replaced, I checked fuel pressure and that was as it should be. I’m suspecting fuel injectors at this point, so in order to test them I attempt to preform a flood test, it cranked right over when cold. Now to verify I wanted to do it while warm also, insuring the throttle cable wasn’t stretched. It wasn’t however the college of mine over cranked it draining the battery. Now this is where the current problem may lie. I jumped it and nada. My boy burnt out my starter solenoid I smacked the solenoid and the starter worked again only now it was stuck engaged.. But it’s no issue, I run to the auto parts spot up the street switch it out and she back in action. Now 3 days later, the day before yesterday, she stalls on me and has a slow crank no start condition. Frustrated I push it back into the driveway. after having made a 20 minute walk my dogs and go to crank it to fidget with the solenoid wires id messed with Before. And before I fidget with anything I go try to crank it and boom. Like frankinstain she’s alive… now she ran fine till this afternoon, I went to a bible study group, and stopped for a snack on the way in. And she refused to start again, with a slow crank no start. I end up push starting it, and she ran fine, I just had to blow out the flood condition as I’m waiting on the injectors to come in the mail. My question is this. Would this likely just be a failed starter motor/brushes due to the starter sticking when the solenoid has failed? Or could this have to do with the rich condition? I also have an after market coolant gauge/ect, that the kid prior to me had wired in bypassing the oem ect if I recall correctly, so I’m also considering that could be an issue as well.unfortunately I just underwent a move and have limited access to my tools so I’ve been playing the old part throwing game.
