Possible bad ECM?

I have a 1994 ranger v6 4.0 xlt, it has always ran great for the most part, had slight missfire but other than that nothing technical. One day I was told to do a burnout…well my starter starter making a noise like it wasnt disengaging, so i turned it off. Turned it back on and the starter just stayed on, so i get towed home. Ive replaced the starter and starter solenoid and tried, nothing. So i check my fuses and their all good, i noticed i didnt hear my fuel pump so i replaced it, nothing. Battery died and found out i had a dead cell and there was battery corrosion all underneath the battery like it drained out. Replaced it and still nothing. Figured it was spark plugs and wires and coil pack replaced it all, nothing. Replaced crank position sensor and then tested the icm and it read FAIL at Autozone, still nothing. I have compression (155Ibs) and spark was jumpy but the icm should have fixed that, and fuel squirts out of the fuel rail after every turn of the key. I wasn’t to pull the ecm and see is anything could be blown on it or if it’s fried. Thoughts? I haven’t read codes yet, i didn’t have anything at the time that would fit.
