howdy. just joined the group!! as a responsible dad. i bought my young son who started driving a used 1994 ford ranger. just a basic 2wd 3.0. Because this should be every kids first truck!!!! so i got a question. right now, when starting the truck, it turns over but doesnt always fire up. wait a second or 2, turn it over again and usually fires right up. I'm thinking the fuel pump is getting weak. i can hear it kinda turn on when i turn the key on then go quiet. but any advice would be awesome!!!! i wish i had bought a 1995 or later model because i could diagnose things easier with a ob2 scanner but oh well. only paid $2700 and has only 131000 miles.
