Leaking combustion gasses in cooling system
Leaking combustion gasses in cooling system
So I had noticed that my coolant was getting eaten up slowly for a month and noticed only at idle would I have the white smoke out the tail pipe until one day I was at the gas station and seen steam coming up from my engine bay so I opened the hood to find coolant running down the front of my block from where the intake gasket was coming from. So I assumed it was from the intake gasket but I have replace said gasket now twice and I'm getting antifreeze coming out of my radiator as she start to warm up and still the dreaded white smoke out of the tail pipe. Is there any chance that the intake is warped? I have new heads on her with only 40,000 miles on them so I can't imagine that I have a cracked head. Please any help is much appreciated.
SAME ISSUE
Had the same issue and, following the suggestions of the much smarter folks on this thread, used Blue Devil sealer-following the directions meticulously, and(knocking very hard on wood!!) so far the issue has resolved itself!!
